The Friendship Connection Around the Cross

The Bible Study booklet for staff that I found is called The Friendship Connection Around the Cross by Norene Antin.(Discovery house Publishers)

This book is about Jesus' life and ministry looking at the closest  relationships he had while on earth and what we can learn from each. Starting with John the Baptist and then on to the friends of Jesus that line the pathway as He approaches the cross... finishing with the passing of the baton to Paul.
the chapters are titled as follows:
1) John the Baptist : a different voice--A friend brings Harmony
2) Mary, Martha and Lazarus: The Triumphant teammates--A friend Feels with you
3) One Thief Captured by Grace: a Friend Remembers
4) Mary Magdelene : Delivered and Directed --A Friend Lets Go
5) Peter: A Mess turned into a Message of Mercy--A Friend Forgives
6) Paul: A Hit Man Captured By God --A Friend is Faithful

Each chapter has the following sections: The Bible lesson, "A modern day story" (illustration), Sharing our hearts--discussion starters, A change of heart section--application, and 'Walk the word'--practical ideas for living it out. There is also a section that gives additional related verses for each topic.

I have not used this book yet but I thought it looked very usable/adaptable for an interesting staff Bible study about our theme.

hope this helps--pass on whatever parts of this information that you would like.
